Why, hello! Thanks for stopping by my About Me page! Here’s some stuff…about me!

Hello hello! I’m Amelia! I grew up in Hoboken, NJ and Charlotte, NC, and I am now based in New York City! I graduated from Hofstra University, where I majored in Drama Performance and double minored in Musical Theatre and Dance.

I love performing musical theatre, contemporary plays, Shakespeare, and I am very passionate about new works by emerging artists! Most recently, I have been seen as Harmony in the World Premiere Proof of Concept production of The Grieving Project by Lisa Sniderman at The Voxel Theatre. I also was recently in a reading of Living Through Postcards as Janie Wooten at The Kraine Theatre, directed by Kevin R. Free.

In college, I was a proud member of the Mu Psi cast of Alpha Psi Omega, as well as Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Fraternity and I worked on my campus as a stitcher in our costume shop. I performed on Hofstra’s mainstage in The Threepenny Opera and the Student Rep productions of A Quaint and Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore (World Premiere) and Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice. I also performed with many of Hofstra’s organizations, including Spectrum Players (Fishtank: A World Premiere Play), and Masquerade Musical Theatre Co (Grease, We’re Doomed: A Musical Review About the End of the World), for which I was also the Treasurer.

I currently work as a seller for Creative Goods Merchandise and I can be seen in many of the Broadway houses selling magnets and t-shirts from your favorite shows! If you ever see me working, feel free to say hi!

I have many passions outside of the theatre world. I have been studying American Sign Language (ASL) since I was in high school and I am very passionate about the language, as well as the Deaf community. I am an avid reader and enjoy lots of crafty things, such as sewing, painting, cross-stitch, and interior design. I have a love for aesthetics and enjoy making every space I am in one that feels loving and inviting.

Upcoming Projects:

I just got back recently Baltimore, working on a proof-of-concept for a new musical!
